Our regions

The strength of the UK RS Tera Class Association is mainly thanks to our tireless Regional Representatives who do so much promoting Tera sailing in their regions.

Organising events during the sailing season, training during the summer months, and during the winter, and keeping in touch with the ever-expanding number of clubs embracing the RS Tera.

If you need any help, reach out to your regional rep, who will be more than happy to offer you help and advice.

Eastern region

The Eastern Region Teras (or Tereastas) is a thriving group of like-minded young sailors and 'youthful' parents.

We strive to provide quality training and racing within the area, together with an emphasis on social interaction and making lifelong friendships.

Southern region

Hi, I am Dylan and I am the new RS Tera representative for the Southern region. I enjoyed many years of Tera sailing myself and in recent years  I am part of the RS Tera Class national coaching team. Having moved down to the University of Chichester, I have recently picked up this role and I have great plans for this region.

South West region

Hi, I’m Pete and I am your South West rep for the Association. I sail at Starcross YC with my two Tera sailing boys.  The South West Tera Squad has a winter training program which is run in association with SWYSA, and is developing this great class in the South West.

We have sailors from many South West clubs - please get in touch if you sail a Tera or are thinking about it!

Wales region

Hi, I’m Max I live in beautiful Pembrokeshire with my wife Charlotte and son Macsen, who is a very keen young (12) Tera sailor and the reason I am involved with the exciting National Tera class. I was asked to become the Welsh Tera rep this winter and, with the help of Rhys Bromhall from Neyland Yacht Club, started to organise and set up the Welsh Region.

Midlands region

Hi, I'm Steve based in Warwickshire, and along with Ed (Leicestershire) & Patrick (Northamptonshire) represent the class within the Midlands region.  We are lucky in the region to have many fantastic venues and currently hosts a number of the national Tera events.  As a new and friendly RYA recognised class (tera Sport) we are looking to expand the Tera family within the region by offering local coaching and racing events.
