The Rooster RS Tera End of Season Championships, the final round of the 2022 UK RS Tera national circuit, was held at Draycote Water Sailing Club on 15th and 16th October, with one of the biggest race fleets ever assembled for our season finale.

Frensham Pond Sailing Club welcomed the largest ever Tera fleet for its RS Tera open on Saturday 24th September. Visitors were treated to a sailing extravaganza with Frensham at its best. Sunny, with the perfect wind direction providing only moderate shifts.

On Saturday 17th September, Gurnard Sailing Club hosted the second leg of the IW Youth and Junior Dinghy Championship. Three races were held through the afternoon over high tide in Gurnard Bay. There were 35 entries across the ILCA and Tera fleets with sailors visiting from Yarmouth, Royal Victoria and Brading Haven Yacht Clubs.

The UK RS Tera fleet gathered at Rutland Sailing Club on 10th and 11th October for their Inland Championships 2022. It was great to be back at Rutland in its beautiful setting and a good to see an Inland sailing area not significantly affected by the drought conditions, even though it looked as if the tide was out!

The 16th and 17th July saw the second event of the RS Tera Northern Series and the RS Northern Tera Championship which was hosted by Bassenthwaite Sailing Club, and sailed as part of the wider NW Junior Traveller Series.

On the weekend of 2 and 3 July 2022, Burnham Sailing Club opened their doors and welcomed the RS Tera Eastern Sailors to their club as they kindly hosted the Eastern Championships 2022, sponsored by Allen.
