Having lost several events to Lockdown and winter weather, Sunday was blessed with light winds and sunshine, enabling coaches Stuart Jones and Izzy Cramp to fit in a full day on the water.

With a Mediterranean backdrop of cruise ships and azure waters to match the gentle southerly breeze, the 12 juniors were split into two groups based on experience and ability. Each group then covered all aspects of lighter winds sailing, boat handling and racing, all ending with a little bit of comedy capsize practice!

Special thanks to Paignton SC for hosting, Teign Corinthian Yacht Club for the loan of their Teras and transporting them to the event and finally to all the parents for keeping the training covid safe!
