Despite our every effort, it is with regret that the UK RS Tera Class Association along with Burton Sailing Club, have taken the decision, last night, to postpone the RS Tera Inlands 2020.

Class Development Manager Marcus Collingbourne commented “ There has been an unbelievable amount of work behind the scenes both from the Class Association and the host venue to try to make this event happen and we are indebted to Phil Coleman and his team at Burton Sailing Club who couldn’t have tried harder to get our sailors back on the water competitively, but in the end due to the current restrictions, particularly around the definition of the term “a gathering”, we just couldn’t make it happen.”

The UK RS Tera Class Association is hoping to reschedule the event for a date in September, providing the situation allows.

The next scheduled RS Tera event, the 2020 Nationals in Torbay over the August Bank Holiday weekend is currently still in the calendar and the Association are in close communication with Royal Torbay Yacht Club to hopefully be able to deliver the RS Tera National Championships this year, but as with the Inlands, it will depend on the ever-changing government guidance.

In these uncertain times the UK RS Tera Class Association is working hard to promote RS Tera sailing and racing throughout the UK, and we would urge all Tera sailors across the UK to help us survive these challenging times by joining and paying the £17.50 Annual Membership Fee for 2020 – we can not exist without paying members.
