Northampton Sailing Club

Saturday 15th - Sunday 16th April 2023

The UK RS Tera Class Association is delighted to announce that we are holding our

2023 RS Tera Start of Season Championships at Northampton Sailing Club

and, in conjunction with this, we will also be holding a

Train & Race Regatta Fleet for our less experienced sailors alongside. 

​

After a break of 4 years, it is great to be returning to this friendly club,

based at Pitsford Reservoir within Brixford Country Park in rural Northamptonshire.

​

The catering team at the club has produced a mouth-watering menu all weekend,

please help them out by pre-ordering.

​

There is onsite camping available at just £5 per night - details below.

​

NB: we have a cap on entries for both the Main and Regatta fleets at this event.

Our total entry is 90 boats across Main and Regatta fleets.

This is currently set at 74 boats in the Main Fleet and 16 in the Train & Race Regatta fleet.

The Organisers reserve the right to alter these ratios subject to demand.

Main Fleet

The entry fee is £65.00

​

2 days of championship racing on the beautiful Pitsford Reservoir.

 

Please note that the main fleet entry is limited to 74 boats.

Train & Race Regatta Fleet

The entry fee is £85.00, the Association is subsidising the coaching costs.  

​

The Train & Race Regatta Fleet event is aimed at younger sailors and new-comers to the circuit to hone their racing skills.
Led by the Class Association coach es, this is designed to be a fun event for those sailors just starting their fleet sailing experience.
Entry limited to 16 sailors.

Event Catering

Northampton SC galley will be providing breakfasts, filled breakfast rolls, hot lunches, evening meals, filled baps, cakes with teas and coffees throughout the event.

 

The menu for the event can be found on the pdf link – please pre-book your food as it will help the caterers Sarah & Martin.

Camping onsite

Any visitors wishing to camp either in tents, motorhomes, caravans etc. should register on the Northampton SC website (link below).

As the grass areas remain soft, any motorhomes and caravans users please park only on tarmac areas.
All those camping onsite must pay their £5.00 per night camping fee plus any electric hook-up used before leaving the event.
